Graduation at Polin Museum

Pupils from French high school René Goscinny of Warsaw were awarded on the 24th of May for taking part of Convoi 77 project.

They received diplomas at Polin Museum with a lot of officials representatives : Pierre Lévy, French ambassador, Magdalena Turowska, assistant director of international cooperation at education ministry, Georges Diener, cutural attaché at French embassy at Warsaw, Zygmunt Stepinski, director of Polin Museum, Jolanta Herzog, director of Warsaw Jewish Historical Museum, Louis-Albert Mensdorff-Pouilly, headmaster of René Goscinny high school and Georges Mayer, president of Convoi 77 association.

Pupils wrote seven biographies about seven deported from the 77th convoy. They started their investigation work the 26th of January 2018.  

French ambassador, Pierre Lévy, underlined how this work participate to transmit Shoah memory.

Diplomas’ ceremony was an occasion for other headmasters and teachers to discover René Goscinny’s pupils work. Schools La Fontaine and Raoul Wallenberg will participate at European project Convoi 77 soon.
